    High school baseball: Vote for the Varsity 845 player of the week (March 25-31)

    Online voting for the Varsity 845 baseball player of the week for March 25-31 is now open. Go to RecordOnline.com/sports and vote as often as you like until 10 p.m. on Saturday (no computer bot voting, please).

    Nominations are pulled from reports to Varsity 845 and other sources. Players from Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties, plus Delaware Valley (Pa.) are eligible.

    He had two triples, a double, a single and four RBI as the Crusaders blanked Warwick 12-0 on Thursday.

    David Phillips, Liberty

    He fanned 15 batters and allowed four hits in an 11-5 win over S.S. Seward on Monday.

    John Ryder, Marlboro

    He homered, doubled, drove in three runs and contributed to a nine-strikeout two-hitter as the Dukes beat Valley Central 7-3 on Wednesday.
