    Section 9 boys track and field scores for the 2024 season

    To report Section 9 boys track and field scores (OCIAA and MHAL): Coaches or team representatives are asked to send scores and highlight information for both teams (first and last names, please), win or lose, as soon as possible by emailing sports@th-record.com . Please include a name and contact number.

    Monroe-Woodbury 74, Newburgh 67: Lucas Ortiz swept the 100 and 200 meters for host Monroe. The Crusaders also got wins from Jared Durand (shot), Justin Reich (discus), Ethan Gutierrez (triple) and Gavin Catherwood (800. For Newburgh, Anthony Burnett swept the hurdles races, Jun Rivas the high and long jumps, and got wins from David Pinnock (400) and Devin Batelic (1,600).

    Valley Central at Cornwall, 4 p.m.

    Minisink Valley 74, Warwick 67: Jordan Mabra won the triple jump and 400 meters and Gavin Rossi the 800 and 3,200 for visiting Minisink. For Warwick, Luke Beattie won the 100 and 200 meters, long jump and pole vault and Nico Carrillo the discus and 110 hurdles.

    Highland at Spackenkill, 4:15 p.m.

    Ellenville 103, Onteora 37: Anthony Murdoc won the 200, 400 and 400 meter hurdles for visiting Ellenville (1-0). Dylan Nero swept the 110 hurdles and shot.

    Webutuck at Rhinebeck, 4:15 p.m.

    Kingston 75, Pine Bush 66: Sean Henn won the pole vault and 400-meter hurdles for visiting Kingston. For Pine Bush, Josh Dymond (discus) and Plexico Brooks (triple) were field winners, as was Jaden Robertson in the 110-meter hurdles and Nicholas Burgess in the 200.

    Middletown 76, Washingtonville 65: Myles Berry swept the shot put and discus and Jean Franco Del Valle won the 110 hurdles and high jump for visiting Middletown. For Washingtonville, Joseph Mullan won the 1,600, Jason Ariano the 400 hurdles and James Mynio the 3,200.
