The National Weather Service says the mid-Hudson Valley should be looking at a mostly sunny, rain-free weekend from beginning to end.

After cooling off for a few days during the week, high temperatures should return to the 80s in most places this weekend.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with high temperatures in the low to mid-80s in Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties and the high 70s in Sullivan County, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy, with low temperatures in the low 60s in Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties and the high 50s in Sullivan County.

Sunday will be a virtual repeat of Saturday, with sunny skies in Orange County and mostly sunny skies in Dutchess, Sullivan and Ulster counties. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s in Orange, Dutchess and Ulster counties, and right at 80 in Sullivan County.

Sunday night will be mostly clear in Orange and Sullivan counties, and partly cloudy in Dutchess and Ulster counties.

There is no chance of rain showers or thunderstorms in the region until Monday afternoon, and the National Weather Service currently is forecasting that those storms will bypass Sullivan County.
