The calendar might have flipped to October, but the National Weather Service says we will still see daytime high temperatures in the 70s in the Hudson Valley this weekend.

The only exception is Sullivan County, where the mercury won't quite climb out of the 60s.

Saturday will be sunny in Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan counties, and mostly sunny in Orange County. Daytime highs will be in the mid-70s in Dutchess, Ulster and Orange counties, and the upper 60s in Sullivan County.

The only possible sign of rain is in Sullivan County, where there is a 30% chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m.

Saturday night will be clear, with low temperatures in the mid-40s in all four counties.

On Sunday, it will be sunny in all four counties, with high temperatures in the low 70s in Orange, Ulster and Dutchess counties, and the mid-60s in Sullivan County.

On Sunday night, there is a 70% chance of showers in Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan counties, and a 60% chance of showers in Orange County.

But in Dutchess, Ulster and Orange counties, the most likely time for those showers, according to the National Weather Service, will be after 2 a.m., when it will technically be Monday and the start of a new work week.
