WILKES-BARRE — City police reported Lisa La Teesha Miner, 46, of Front Street, Warrior Run, was charged with terroristic threats when she allegedly threatened a man with a knife inside the Luzerne County Assistance Office on Monday.

Police responded to the office on South Washington Street when Miner allegedly passed several people waiting in line just before 1 p.m.

A 59-year-old man told Miner she needed to wait when Miner pulled a knife from a bag, pointed it at the man and said, “I’ll poke you,” according to court records.

Miner was arraigned by District Judge Michael Dotzel of Wilkes-Barre Township on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct. She was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
