    Courthouse evacuated twice Tuesday due to fire alarm

    WILKES-BARRE — Employees, visitors and a jury were evacuated twice from the Luzerne County Courthouse due to activated fire alarms Tuesday morning.

    The first alarm activated just before 8:30 a.m. and again after 9 a.m., resulting in responses from the Wilkes-Barre City Fire Department.

    Tuesday’s evacuations follows an activated fire alarm last Wednesday, which was found to be a faulty alarm.
