Coffee Inclusive will hold a hiring event Sept. 7.

Coffee Inclusive will expand with the addition of “The Bakery at Coffee Inclusive” and is excited to announce a hiring event on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Pittston location on 350 Kennedy Blvd. The event aims to fill various positions in its bakery and across its innovative programs, including TASC and ITEP.

Coffee Inclusive invites all interested individuals to attend and learn more about the positions available, meet the team, and discover how you can contribute to a community that values inclusivity and growth.

Positions are available for experienced bakers, creative pastry artists, and those eager to learn and grow in a warm, community-focused environment. The bakery values dedication, creativity, and a genuine love for helping others, offering an opportunity for those looking to make a meaningful impact through their craft.

The Transition Academy Social Club (TASC) is an empowering initiative for students aged 14 to 21, focusing on enhancing self-advocacy, independent living, and employment readiness, all while having fun and making friends. Through three 10-week modules spread over 10 months, participants build essential skills in disability awareness, daily living, and workplace preparation. The program is offered across several regions — Pittston, Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill County, Berks County, and the Poconos, and provides weekly sessions designed to foster personal growth and community connections.

The Inclusive Transitional Employment Program (ITEP) is an innovative training initiative for high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). ITEP equips students with practical skills and real-world experience in the culinary and food service industries, preparing them for meaningful employment after graduation. This program reflects Coffee Inclusive’s commitment to creating opportunities for all individuals to thrive.
