NANTICOKE — Police in Nanticoke City arrested Tyler Anthony Vince on allegations he showed up at the residence of his former girlfriend and threatened her new boyfriend Tuesday night.

Vince, 25, of Dupont, arrived at the woman’s apartment in the 1200 block of South Hanover Street just before 7 p.m. and admitted he “lost it” when he saw a pair of men’s boots in the kitchen, according to the criminal complaint.

The woman opened the door when Vince knocked, but she claimed Vince was shoving her out of the way to get inside to attack her new boyfriend, the complaint says.

She told police, the complaint says, Vince brandished and waved a Glock 19 while he was threatening the new boyfriend.

Police said they removed the firearm, which was loaded, from Vince’s waistband.

Vince was arraigned by District Judge Joseph Spagnuolo of Plains Township on three counts of simple assault, two counts of harassment and one count each of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. Vince was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail.
