Mitchell baseball wins first game, loses second in unconventional Saturday doubleheader

Mitchell's boys baseball team won one and then lost the next game on Saturday, May 11, at home in Seitzinger Field.

First up was Eastern Greene. The Bluejackets defeated the Thunderbirds, 7-0.

Later in the day, Mitchell's team lost to Barr-Reeve, 4-1.

Mitchell played two games in one day because of a mix-up with a tournament that was supposed to be played on Saturday.

As of Saturday, Mitchell's baseball team is now 16-6 for the season.
