County officials issued an advisory for North Beach in Coronado due to high bacteria levels Monday.

In a release sent to the Times of San Diego, The San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) said that bacteria levels at North Beach exceed state health standards and may cause illness.

The following beaches remain under water contact advisory:

    • La Jolla Children’s Pool
    • Glorietta Bay

The following beaches remain under water contact closure:

    • Tijuana Slough
    • Imperial Beach
    • Silver Strand Shoreline

These closures can be linked to trans-border flows from broken sewage infrastructure, which also caused several South Bay Schools to limit student’s time outdoors. San Diego’s congressional contingent once again called for a state of emergency declaration Monday due to the high level of toxic gases near the US-Mexico border.

It is time for everyone in San Diego to file a class action lawsuit against the federal government for negligence. Not providing a safe environment to live in. Or it is time to start bottling it and send it to every congressman, senator, President, and v President. Over and over until this is fixed
