BETHLEHEM, PENNSVYLVANIA — Kalie Eshelman drilled a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning to send Muskingum to a 3-1 win over Moravian University and into the regional final at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Sage Snyder hit a RBI single in the first to put Moravian on the board, while Tareyn Born belted a solo home run in the second to tie the game at 1 for Muskingum.

Madelyn Thomas tossed a two-hitter with nine strikeouts and two walks in the complete game win, while Madi Cunningham took the loss, allowing just four hits with three strikeouts.

Muskingum opened the regional with a 6-3 win over Roanoke on Thursday, as the Muskies scored five times in the first inning.

Natalie Smith had a RBI sac fly, Eliana Shaheen added a two-run single and Kenzie Standerfer followed with a two-run double in that frame.

Eshelman also belted a solo blast in the fourth for the Muskies, and Thomas earned the complete game victory, giving up three runs on four hits with nine strikeouts and four walks.
