The Museum of Popular Culture in Seattle announced on Thursday that science-fiction novelists Nnedi Okorafor and Nicola Griffith will be added to its Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame.

MoPOP inducts four new members each year—two creators and two creations—into this prestigious hall with the vote of the public and a professional panel, according to museum officials.

Nnedi has contributed to comics and film and is a winner of the Hugo, Nebula, Eisner, and World Fantasy Awards, according to MoPop.

Nicola Griffith is a British American speculative fiction writer and activist known for the Hild Sequence, Ammonite, So Lucky, Slow River, and Spear who lives in Seattle, according to MoPop. Her accolades include the Nebula, the World Fantasy Awards, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, two Washington State Book Awards, and six Lambda Literary Awards, MoPop reports further.
