Olympia Youth Social: Music, Art, and Free Ice Cream!

Young Olympians are invited to a youth-hosted event to enjoy live music, art, and free ice cream with people their age, the City of Olympia has announced.

The event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sat. Aug. 17 at Percival Landing Park, according to City officials.

This Youth Social is intended to act as a precursor for an Olympia Youth Council in the works, the City reports further. The council is meant to help its members grow connections within the Olympia community and represent local youth voices in Olympia.

Applications for the Olympia Youth Council will open this August for people who will be ages 14 to 20 when their term begins in January 2025.
