Road Closure on 18th Ave SE for Utility Work

A section of roadway on 18th Ave SE will be closed off later this month, City of Olympia officials have announced.

The closure will occur from midnight to 6 a.m. beginning on Friday, Oct. 25 and ending on Saturday, Oct. 26, east of the roundabout located at Fones Road and 18th city officials say.

This section of road, officials say further, transitions in name from 18th Ave SE, to Elizabeth Ave SE and then to 14th Ave SE as it enters Lacey.

According to city officials, the closure will hekp assist utility work in Lacey where additional closures within the city limits will happen as needed.

Commuters are encouarged to avoid the area if possible, city officials say further.
