    It's back! The Sazerac in Seersucker Bourbon Dinner at Tujague’s restaurant in New Orleans returns on Thursday, September 14th, 2023. This annual event features a specially prepared 5-course menu that is paired beautifully with five featured bourbons.

    "Don your best Seersucker and join us for an evening celebrating Bourbon on Thursday, September 14th. Chef Gus Martin has prepared a delightful five course meal that pairs beautifully with five classic cocktails each highlighting a different bourbon. The featured bourbons include Blanton’s, Sazerac Rye, W.L. Weller, Eagle Rare, and Buffalo Trace. Bourbon lovers won’t want to miss this exclusive opportunity!"

    Tujague’s is the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans. Located in the French Quarter Tujague’s has been a favorite for over 160 years, entertaining and satisfying the delightfully robust appetites of French Quarter patrons.

    The 5-course menu by Chef Gus Martin includes:

    MENU:

    1st Course
    Bacon-Wrapped Gulf Shrimp
    Tomato confit, pickled okra and sugar cane bourbon glaze
    Paired with a Sazerac Rye "Sazignac"

    2nd Course
    Prosciutto Gorgonzola Tarte
    Apple roasted pepper chutney
    Paired with a Blanton's Boulevardier


    3rd Course
    Duck Spring Roll
    Bourbon bacon gastrique
    Paired with a W.L. Weller Special Reserve Tribly

    4th Course
    Pan Roasted Pompano
    Potatoes croquette, jumbo lump crabmeat, bourbon corn sauce
    Paired with an Eagle Rare "Sour Eagle"

    5th Course
    La Bête Noire
    Flourless chocolate cake, sweet double cream, orange bourbon glaze
    Paired with a Buffalo Trace L'Autre Bête
