    Kickoff the holiday season at the 2nd annual Children’s Hospital Holiday Parade

    The 2nd annual Children’s Hospital Holiday Parade in New Orleans will take place on Saturday, December 2 at 11 am.

    This year's parade will feature more than 25 floats and include custom-designed holiday themed floats that feature animatronic props, intelligent lighting systems, special effects and audio systems as well as high-flying helium balloons, severla of New Orleans favorite marching groups and bands and of course, Santa Claus.

    The holiday festivities will continue with a post parade celebration from 1pm to 3pm with live musical performances from Maggie Koerner and Trombone Shorty along with members of the Trombone Shorty Academy, delicious food, drinks and holiday activities that include photos with Santa and more.

    Children’s Hospital Holiday Parade made its debut last year, in partnership with Kern Studios, the Downtown Development District New Orleans, WDSU, NewOrleans.com, and many other parade partners. Lucio A. Fragoso, President and CEO of Children’s Hospital New Orleans said, “Children’s Hospital is proud to help bring this world-class, kid and family-centered holiday parade to the City of New Orleans again this December. We invite the community to join us for a day of joy and fun as we kickoff the holiday season together. The support of our amazing parade partners and sponsors will benefit the vital mission of Children’s Hospital New Orleans.”
