    Louisiana Crawfish Fest: 4 Days of Food & Fun

    Crawfish lovers rejoice! The Louisiana Crawfish Festival is back for 2024 in Chalmette, LA. It all starts today, Thursday, March 21th -Sunday, March 24th. Come on out to enjoy all the crawfish you can imagine in every dish in one spot! Plus check out all the rides, games and entertainment including performances by Bag of Donuts, Groovy 7, Sugar Shaker International Party Band and more over 4 days of family fun in the parish.

    Hosted by the Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation with a mission to help those in need, the Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation's goal is to support community programs in St. Bernard Parish and the surrounding areas. Their purpose is to not only promote St. Bernard Parish and the culture and tourism through the Louisiana Crawfish Festival, but also to be charitable, patriotic, educational, and other public-spirited purposes that have an impact on the community.

    Since Hurricane Katrina, the Louisiana Crawfish Festival donated over two million dollars back to the community. To commemorate the 45th Louisiana Crawfish Festival, the committee decided to establish the Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3.

    Admission to the festival is free on Thursday, $5 on Friday and $10 on Saturday or Sunday. Carnival ride bands are $20 Thursday, $25 Friday and $30 for Saturday or Sunday.

    My wife is from St Bernard Parish. This is one of the best festivals of the year. Seems like every year gets bigger but they still keep the prices down.
