    Hot and Spicy Crab Rangoon Dip: Game Day Delight

    With the start of the college and NFL seasons right around the corner, it is time to break out all those delicious tailgating and party food recipes. If you love crab rangoon, you will love this hot and spicy dip version that is so quick and easy to make. It is guaranteed to be a big hit at all your get togethers on game days!

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 2 cups of lump crab meat
    • 16 ounces of cream cheese, softened
    • 1-1/4 cup of pepper jack cheese
    • 1/2 cup of sour cream
    • 2 green onions, chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
    • 1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce, low sodium

    DIRECTIONS:

    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup of pepper jack cheese, green onions, lemon juice, hot sauce, black pepper and garlic powder.
    • Gently fold in the crab meat and mix everything together.
    • Place the dip in a baking dish.
    • Top the dip with the rest of the cheese and green onions.
    • Bake for approximately 30 minutes, until the dip is bubbly and golden brown
    • Serve with warmed wontons or tortilla chips and enjoy!
