    Game Day Meatballs: Quick and Delicious Recipe

    Football season is officially here and that means tailgating parties and good food to go with the games. What better way to kick off the NFL season with some delicious, quick and easy game day meatballs... Guaranteed to be a big hit at your party!

    Ingredients:


    For the meatballs:

    • 1 lb. of lean ground beef
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1/2 cup of dry breadcrumbs
    • 1 small yellow onion, minced
    • 1 tsp. of dried parsley flakes
    • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 tsp. of salt
    • 1/4 tsp. of black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder

    For the sauce:

    • 2 cups of ketchup
    • 1 cup of light brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce

    Directions:


    For the sauce:

    • Combine all of the ingredients into a large saucepan.
    • Whisk together and cook until hot.

    For the meatballs:

    • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
    • Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag and mix together well.
    • Shape the ground beef into 1" balls.
    • Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, until cooked throughly
    • Add meatballs to the sauce and heat throughly.
    • Serve hot with toothpicks and enjoy!
