Third Lantern Lit presents a "Gothic Gala" annual fundraiser in New Orleans

Third Lantern Lit is proud to present their Gothic Gala on Saturday, October 12th at 7:00 p.m. at Courtyard Brewery in New Orleans.

Third Lantern Lit is a local non-profit that lowers the barrier to entry into the writing and publishing industry for artists in the Greater New Orleans Area through free or at-cost community gatherings, workshops, retreats, and educational events. Their events are geared towards writers at every step of their journey, from beginners to seasoned professionals. They support and fortify our local literary community through free and low-cost peer-to-peer learning.

Join Third Lantern Lit for a night of mystery and revelry at their second annual fundraising benefit. Enjoy hand-crafted cocktails and decadent hors d'ourves. Let local authors Jess Armstrong, Jami Attenberg, Annell Lopez, and Vanessa Saunders serenade you with lush worlds and words. Have your future told by tarot reader, August Esper and met other writers in your community.

This year's event will feature food and drinks, door prizes, mingling, tarot reading, readings from local authors, and more at our celebration of our growing literary community. Come dressed from your favorite gothic novel. Classic, southern, penny dreadful, sci-fi, romantic, contemporary - whatever inspires you the most.

Early bird general admission tickets are on sale now for $25 as well as gold level for $40, which includes two drink tickets and five door prize tickets and platinum level for $75, which includes five drink tickets and ten door prize tickets.
