Man caught creeping on porches

Osceola, Pa. — A Tioga County man was charged after he was caught creeping around on the front porches of homes.

State police at Mansfield were called in the early morning hours of June 17 to a home in Osceola Township for a report of a man on their front porch messing with the front door. Trp. Alexander Rivers says that man later was identified as David Flynn, 62, of Elkland. The resident gave police a description of the man and said he had fled the scene.

After a brief canvas of the area, police found Flynn on the front porch of another home. Flynn was taken into custody on charges of loitering and prowling at night. Police also found him to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.

Charges were filed at the office of District Judge James R. Edgcomb in Elkland. Bail was set at $5,000.
