Mansfield, Pa — A suspect was arrested for setting a clothing donation shed on fire last month in Tioga County. Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Al Schmidt visited Wellsboro on Tuesday, July 9 to meet with election officials and to familiarize himself with rural districts. Schmidt was appointed acting secretary by Gov. Josh Shapiro in January 2023 and officially became secretary last month. Theft of chainsaw reported
Mansfield, Pa. — Police say a someone stole a chainsaw from a victim's property in Tioga County. The unknown white male came to the property on Route 6 in Richmond Township sometime on July 3 and took the chainsaw valued at $180, according to Trp. Donovan of state police at Mansfield.
