I love summer and the wide array of events going on. I was able to visit the new gallery, art haus, in Armory Square and Jeff Allen’s Art Opening at one of my favorite spots in Hanover Square, Maxwells. Take a walk and check out both spots. The shows are still on display. Of course I also caught some music. Dark Hollow was at Maxwells and Ben Wayne was at Eleven Waters. Not bad for a Wednesday! Friday I went to Amanda Rogers’ EP Release at Manlius Cinema. I feel lucky to have experienced the unique blend of watching 52 Hertz The Loneliest Whale then seeing her perform her album inspired by the story. It was an intimate and moving experience. The album, 52 Hurts, is now streaming.
