SNHU announces winter 2024 President’s List
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) recently announced its Winter 2024 President’s List, which includes students from Whitesboro and surrounding areas. Monique Staley of Whitesboro, Shannon Brown of Gordonville and Yahaira Holt of Pilot Point were among the full-time undergraduate students who earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term. Texoma Drive renovations begin, 1 million-gallon water tower engineering underway
The City Council discussed updates on the current ongoing city projects in town during last week’s meeting. The Texoma Street project construction began last week. Residents may have observed a drone flying over the neighborhood, a tool used by the contractor to obtain footage of the construction area. The water line project will start August 1. Whitesboro City Administrator Julie Arrington said the engineer said the 12-inch water line will possibly be changed into a 16-inch water line.
