The following people were booked into the Tippah County Detention Center in connection with felony charges from June 7, 2024 through June 23, 2024. Joshua Thompson, 27, was charged with five counts of breaking into an automobile. He was booked on Thursday, June 13 at 11:09 a.m.

Michael Shane Ragland, 55, resident of Falkner, died Saturday morning June 22, 2024, as the result of a one vehicle auto accident in Tippah County. Funeral Services remembering the life of Michael will be at 1 PM Wednesday, June 26 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday, June 26 with burial to follow in Falkner Cemetery.
