Help local animal shelters, get discounted day of fun at DelGrosso’s Park

TIPTON, Pa. (WTAJ) — DelGrosso’s Park is teaming up with local animal shelters for a “Dog Days of Summer” fundraiser.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, you can get an all-day fun pass for just $20 when you bring two needed shelter items per person. The donation drive will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Needed items include:

Bedford County Humane Society

• Cat Treats
• Soft Dog Treats
• Clumping Cat Litter
• OdoBan

Central PA Humane Society

• Laundry Detergent (unscented)
• OdoBan
• Large Garbage Bags (33, and 40-44 gallon)
• Dry Dog Food (Purina One or 4Health brands)

There will be a tent in front of the main entrance on the waterside, or you can drop off your donations at any ticket booth on the ride side and grab that all-day pass for only $20.

Organizers do ask that no used, opened or expired items be donated.
