Pat Kraft: ‘No satisfaction’ for ‘relentless’ Penn State wrestling program
Cael Sanderson has led Penn State wrestling on such a sustained run of success that the winning can almost be taken for granted. Outside the walls of the Lorenzo Wrestling Complex, many already view the 2025 National Championship as the Nittany Lions‘ to lose. Theft reported at Union County coffee shop
Mifflinburg, Pa. — Someone broke into a coffee shop trailer over the weekend in Union County and took several hundred dollars, according to police. Trp. Hill of state police at Milton says the weekend of June 29 and 30, the unknown suspect broke into IV Coffee Co.'s trailer on Red Barn Road in Buffalo Township and took $300. The coffee shop made a post Monday on their Facebook page, asking the public for help with leads for the burglary incident. "Over the weekend our Mifflinburg location that holds our trailer was broken into. Hundreds of dollars taken. We have already gone through the appropriate avenue to report it and they have advised that I make a post asking for help from my followers.If you happen to have any leads or heard any talk of someone bragging about this, please contact me (Kari) or Trooper Hill with the Pennsylvania State Police," the post read. "And just a gentle reminder that every single little dollar makes an impact for small businesses like mine that pay for our electric bill, little league for my boy and so much more." Impact fees paid by gas drillers in Pa. in 2023 drop by more than $100 million
Pennsylvania collected about $180 million in impact fees from natural gas companies in 2023 – one of the lowest amounts paid since the fee started. The fee collected is over $100 million less than the previous year, a 36% reduction. It’s the lowest amount on record except for $173 million in 2016 and $146 million in 2020.
