I guess he didn't really have any choice but to be a musician himself. Gwen Stefani's 15-year old son, Zuma Rossdale, is surrounding by musical talent. Of course his mother is a massive pop star and the lead singer of No Doubt. But his father Gavin Rossdale is also the lead singer for the rock band Bush - and of course his stepfather is country music superstar
Blake Shelton . So it's no surprise that Zuma appears to have an interest in being a singer himself - and from the sound of it, he's got what it takes. Blake recently stopped by Ole Red, his bar in his hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, to play a few songs for the crowd. And during his performance, he brought out Zuma to make his own onstage debut at the venue. While introducing his stepson, Blake reveals that their oldest child, Casey, leans more towards his mother's style of music, while Zuma is a "dyed-in-the-wool country singer." "He's decided that he's a country guy. He's pretty much grown up half the time out here in Oklahoma, right here in Tishomingo." The 15-year old walks out looking confident in his cowboy hat (as one audience member tells him how cute he looks). And after Blake helps him get his mic adjusted, Zuma launches into a pitch-perfect performance of Zach Bryan's "Oklahoma Smokeshow." https://twitter.com/forgwenandblake/status/1818085580192063672 And he's clearly a big Zach Bryan fan, because Zuma also broke out his own version of Zach's now-iconic closer, "Revival" as his stepdad sang along.
@stephaniemfntill Last minute run up to Ole Red Tishomingo, OK to see @Blake Shelton! Surpise debut performance by @Gwen Stefani’s son Zuma! Someone looks so proud of Zuma! @Zach Bryan Check out Gwens son representing Oklahoma! #blakeshelton #gwenstefani #oleredtishomingo #livingonlaketexoma ♬ original sound - StephanieMF’nTill
Blake looks on like a proud dad from a stool on the side of the stage, and it's pretty clear that the kid's got a lot of talent - so don't be surprised if we see Zuma headlining his own shows somewhere on down the road.
