Southeast Wisconsin weather: Mainly clear Wednesday night

Much of southeast Wisconsin dipped into the 40s last night, and you can expect the same tonight. Locations near Lake Michigan will be sparred of the chill and fall only into the 50s.

Temperatures are on an upswing, and by Friday, we're back into the 80s. There are also some changes to the forecast when it comes to cloud cover and rain. It now looks like a few showers are possible Friday, then another chance for storms late Saturday night. The pattern remains unsettled early next week, as we find ourselves riding along the "ring of fire" or edge of a heat dome.
