Milwaukee police respond to multi-car crash near Sherman & Villard

TMJ4 is working to learn more about a significant police presence near a crash at Sherman and Villard.

The incident occurred Friday evening, August 23. Multiple police crews and firefighters were on the scene.

TMJ4 crews saw at least one person taken into an ambulance and that at least four cars were involved in the crash.

"Looking at that, I thought no one made it out of there," Tandem Hubbard, who was driving by, said.

Police searched the area with K-9 units and TMJ4 crews saw officers take one person into custody from a home in the area.

"Milwaukee is beautiful but it’s hard to enjoy and feel safe. You can’t stand on corners, you can’t walk near the street, you can’t even drive because of stuff like this," Hubbard said.
