With the exception of right along the lakeshore, it is extremely hot this afternoon. Heat index values have soared into the triple digits. Please take it easy and limit your time outdoors. It's going to be a muggy night with a slight chance for storms into the early morning.

Tomorrow could end up being even hotter. Temperatures are expected to soar into the 90s and the tropical dewpoints will make feel as high as 110! A better chance for storms will be possible tomorrow evening. These storms may be severe with damaging wind as the primary threat.
