Southeast Wisconsin weather: Gusty winds overnight and into Sunday

Saturday evening will be warm with temperatures in the 70s and winds will remain gusty. The warmth and wind are related to an approaching cold front. That front will move through overnight, bringing some clouds and possibly a few spotty showers. Behind the front, temperatures will cool, and winds will remain breezy.

Sunday highs will be in the 60s, with west to northwest winds gusting up to 35 mph. Skies will be mainly sunny.

Sunday night, with dry air in place and clear skies, lows will be quite cool. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop into the 40s lakeside, with 30s likely inland. For some inland areas, frost is not out of the question.

Monday sunshine continues, and the daytime will be comfortable with highs in the mid 60s. Monday night will be chilly again with another night of lows in the 30s and 40s.

Temperatures will slowly warm through the upcoming workweek, with dry and sunny days.
