DoorDash delivered 100 million meals through its Project DASH program in June. This milestone was made possible from its ongoing partnerships with organizations like United Way of Greater Toledo .

Since its partnership with DoorDash, United Way of Greater Toledo expanded its delivery services resulting in nearly 8,000 meals over 1,000 deliveries across Northwestern Ohio.

Chef Erin McCart is heating up the summer at Urban Pine Winery , 3415 Briarfield Blvd., Maumee, with a seasonal menu that was released in mid-June.

Some new offerings include a PB&J Burger and a Creamy Lemon Chicken entree. The Chocolate Cherry Flatbread is special to note.

As for wines, the summer menu includes a Black Cherry Sangria, a Pink Paradise - Pink Moscato, and a 2022 Miscella Bianca - Italian Chardonnay Viognier blend.

The Blade’s 40th annual Northwest Ohio Rib Off presented by Dunn Chevy at the Lucas County Fairgrounds, 1406 Key St., Maumee, is set for July 26 to 28, with a weekend full of rib tasting, live music, cornhole tournaments, and more.

Local and national “ribbers” will be competing for several awards in hopes to be crowned the ultimate rib master by a panel of judges.

General admission for the first two days of the event — concert included — is $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. There will be limited advanced reserved seating tickets for the concerts for $59.50 per ticket for July 26 and $65 each for July 27.

July 28 is Family Day, sponsored by Durocher’s, with a performance from Jump, the Van Halen tribute band, for $10 admission per family at the gate.

Coffee Quest 419 is returning on Aug. 1 and will last through Oct. 31, featuring 27 coffee shops on its “road trip” themed journey.

In previous years, the quest has used a paper passport to document coffee trips, but has transitioned to a mobile-exclusive passport.

If participants visit 3 out of 27 stops, they’ll receive a themed sticker, and a free themed T-shirt for visiting 23 out of 27 stops. They will be entered in a grand prize drawing with three winners if all 27 stops are completed.
