Mobile Meals Christmas in July pet photo fund-raiser celebrated

People can get pictures of their pets with “Summer” Santa Dave this Saturday as part of Mobile Meals annual Christmas in July fund-raiser.

For a $10 donation to Mobile Meals, participants will receive a framed print of their furry family member with Santa Dave. In addition to dogs and cats, over the years Santa Dave has had his picture taken with all kinds of pets, including snakes, ducks, and even an alligator.

To help raise money for Mobile Meals, for pet-less people, Santa Dave will also pose for photos with kids. The photo fund-raiser will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Endless Pets & Supplies at 1546 W. Sylvania Ave.

Mobile Meals of Toledo helps those needing assistance with diet and meal preparation, regardless of income, so they can remain in their homes and retain the independence they cherish. Mobile Meals Pet Food Program was established in 2007 after it was discovered that many clients shared their home-delivered meals with their pets.
