Scott Predom, a Middlesex County man, was arrested on Tuesday, July 9 on charges of sexual assault and more following a Tolland County investigation, police announced. Predom, a 60-year-old who hails from Middletown, is accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old boy, who was 13 at the time the assaults occurred.
National weather service issues heat advisory for parts of CT
The National Weather Service Sunday issued a heat advisory for Greater Hartford and surrounding area that will start at noon Monday, according to the agency. The heat advisory is in effect from noon Monday through 8 p.m. Tuesday and means that as there will be heat index values up to 97, according to the Weather Service.
