SALEM Ore. (KPTV) - Two men were arrested Thursday after a reported fight at a convenience store where one man was shot and another injured, according to Salem Police. Starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, July 29, the Greenburg Road on-ramp to northbound OR 217 will close for a week until 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 5. During this closure, Oregon Department of Transportation crews will reconfigure the ramp to ensure it connects to the new, future auxiliary lane. The auxiliary lane is expected to reduce congestion when it opens in 2025 by giving drivers more space and time to merge safely. The suggested detour route is to take the Greenburg Road on-ramp to head southbound on OR 217 and use the OR 99W interchange to return to northbound OR 217.
