Eugene family recovering from shooting that riddled home with bullets
EUGENE, Ore -- When Cristal Cadwallader's home was hit by 25 bullets earlier in July, no lives were lost, but her world was turned upside down. Cadwallader's water heater was hit, causing the tank to burst and flood her home. The majority of her property and personal items are soaked and have mold. It was a nightmare scenario for Cadwallader, she said. Now her water is fixed, but the electricity is still out. Cadwallader didn't want to move out of her Eugene home, but feels she was pushed out by the shooting. Cadwallader is still cleaning out her home.
