Last week, Denver, Colorado received 16 buses filled with migrants over two days from Texas. Governor Greg Abbott began bussing migrants to this city in August.

Last year, El Paso began bussing migrants to Denver and has sent 117 buses to Denver according to its migrant situational awareness dashboard.

Governor Abbott posted last week he has sent over 11,800 migrants to Denver according to a press release.

Migrants continue to cross the southern border along the crossing points mainly along the El Paso and Rio Grande sectors.

On the 16 buses were at least 340 migrants according to CBS News.

Jon Ewing spokesperson of the Denver Human Services said according to CBS News:

"We can run out of room, We can run out of resources. We are already limited as it is. It strains an already strained system even further."

According to the Denver Migrant Dashboard, the City has supported 34,178 migrants since December 24. Yesterday, 273 migrants arrived to the city.

Governor Abbott continues to improve the security along the southern border. Last week, Governor Abbott posted on X, formerly Twitter:

When President Biden allowed Title 42 to expire and opened the floodgates to more illegal crossings, Texas didn’t sit idly by.
I launched the new Texas Tactical Border Force, elite trained soldiers who help intercept and repel migrants trying to enter Texas illegally.

Last week, Governor Abbott began flying migrants to Chicago as the city changed its rules and planned to fine illegal buses carrying migrants to its city according to WTTW.

Where else should Texas send migrants to?
