God's Army Protests Migrant Crisis in Texas and Border Cities

The migrant crisis is causing an uproar not only in Texas but across the country. Two weeks ago the U.S. Supreme Court sided with the Biden administration in a 5 to 4 ruling to continue taking the lead on the migrant crisis according to The Texas Tribune. This caused Texas Governor Greg Abbott to continue to defend the southern border from illegal immigrants.

The Department of Homeland Security gave Texas until last Friday, January 26 to allow Border Patrol access to Shelby Park which the Texas National Guard took over on January 10 according to Texas Public Radio.

Republican governors wrote a letter and rallied around Governor Abbott on the border crisis according to The Hill.

Then Republicans in Congress are holding up President Biden’s financial package to Ukraine and Israel until a border bill is passed. According to WOLA, an immigration bill has not passed as there is a deadlock between the Republican and Democratic parties.

Then Former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts as he wrote according to The Boston Herald while emphasizing his comment in capital letters:

“A BAD BORDER DEAL IS FAR WORSE THAN NO BORDER DEAL. OUR BORDER HAS BECOME A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION — OUR DESTRUCTION!!!”

Now a group called “God’s Army” from Virginia is convoying to border cities to protest the number of illegal immigrants who have crossed the southern border. According to The New York Post, they plan to make stops starting on February 3 in Egle Pass, Texas, Yuma, Arizona, and San Ysidro, California.

They asked for any law-abiding active or retired military, or law enforcement personnel, truckers, or politicians, to join them at the rallies.

One organizer said according to The New York Post:

“This is a biblical, monumental moment that’s been put together by God.”
