Governor Abbott Said President Biden Was In Violation of Federal Law

Governor Greg Abbott shared his stance on the migrant situation and the issue with the Biden administration. Abbott made an appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity on Monday, January 29.

Abbott said President Joe Biden was not following the federal immigration laws.

In the interview, Governor Abbott said according to Fox News:

"They want to have nothing to do with regard to tearing down that razor wire or tearing down the barriers that Texas has erected for one simple reason: And that's because they are working."

"Border patrol says that what Texas has done to secure the border actually makes their job even easier. The only resistance we're facing is coming from Joe Biden."

Then Governor Abbott said:

"Joe Biden is in violation of federal law that already exists. For one, he is not living up to his duty to deny illegal entry across the border…"

"[H]e's giving [migrants] mass parole across the country – because Joe Biden is not enforcing the federal immigration laws that gives Texas the right… to defend ourselves from imminent harm."

Governor Abbott continues to share his message as last week he was with Tucker Carlson according to The Texan.

In a post on X, which is formerly Twitter, Governor Abbott said he will continue to send migrants to sanctuary cities. Since 2022, Governor Abbott has sent over 100,000 migrants to the cities of Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, and Los Angeles.

Governor Abbott posted on Monday, January 29:

“Texas has transported over 102,000 migrants to sanctuary cities. Overwhelmed Texas border towns should not bear the brunt of Biden’s open border policies.”

“Our transportation mission will continue until Biden secures the border.”
