Do We Want Two 80-Year-Old Candidates to Lead? Nikki Haley's Rally In Dallas

A presidential candidate made a stop in Dallas to try and get voters on her side. Republican Nikki Haley believes she is the right person to challenge and beat Democratic President Joe Biden who is running for re-election. 

Haley is a former South Carolina Governor and United Nations Ambassador under the Trump administration seeking the Republican Presidential nominee. 

The former governor is behind former President Donald Trump in recent polls. Haley took recent losses in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada according to The Texas Tribune. She is hoping Texas can change that. 

On Thursday, February 16, Haley held a rally at Gilley’s Dallas South Side Music Hall. 

Haley said about Trump according to The Texas Tribune:

“Everywhere he goes, chaos follows him.”

“We can’t be a country in disarray and a world on fire and go through four more years of chaos. We won’t survive it.”

Haley asked the crowd according to Fox 4: 

"The majority of Americans disapprove of Trump and the majority of Americans disapprove of Biden. And do we really want to leave it up to two 80-year-old candidates to take our country forward?" 

Trying to be the Republican presidential candidate, Haley plans to make stops in San Antonio and Houston in the coming weeks to get more Texas voters to support her. Texas Primary election day is March 5.  

The former governor also said last year she believes if Biden is re-elected then Vice President Kamala Harris would become president according to The New York Post.
