Public meetings set for Tompkins County traffic safety plan
ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Four public meetings are coming up this month to address traffic safety in Tompkins County. The first is an online presentation on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. In-person meetings for the Joint Safety Action Plan, which includes several municipalities across the county, kick off next Friday at Newfield Old Home Days from 4-9 p.m., the Ithaca Farmers Market on July 27th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Pavilion, and lastly the Trumansburg Farmers Market on Wednesday, July 31 from 4-7 p.m.

Last Wednesday, just after 8:30 in the morning, a wanted man was observed leaving the Dryden Hotel by both Deputies from the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office and the Dryden Police Department. The wanted person in question was 35 year old Joshua F. Conklin of Groton. He was seen leaving in a black Ford Mustang.
