FBI agents raided a home in Toms River Monday to break up a suspected ghost gun ring. Neighbors in the area told News 12 the raid began around 5:30 a.m. on Field Street. Video shows agents walking in and out, tagging and collecting evidence. Toms River police also helped with the investigation. Federal authorities say 38-year-old James Hyres, of Toms River, used a 3D printer to manufacture so-called ghost guns. They say Hyres sold the guns with the help of 35-year-old McMickle, of Brick; 51-year-old James Opalenik, of Ocean Gate; and 36-year-old Edward Trost, III, of Toms River. Hyres, McMickle, and Trost each have prior felony convictions and are prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal law, authorities say. All four suspects are each charged by criminal complaint with conspiracy to traffic in firearms and trafficking in firearms. "
