HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Good morning! For today, scattered showers and thunderstorms likely. Rain will be heavy at times, wind gusts to 40 MPH can be expected. High temperatures will be dependent on storm coverage. A Heat Advisory continues for the area, but not as hot as yesterday with high temps around 90 degrees. Tonight, showers and storms end early. Firework shows scheduled for tonight should be good to go. Low to mid 70s overnight.
