Gov. DeSantis Keeps Attacking Kamala Harris, Saying Nobody Wants Her

    2022-11-08

DeSantis dislikes the current Vice President of the United States. This is no secret. He's been adamant about his disapproval since day one.

Governor Ron DeSantis has now launched his new series of public attacks, saying nobody wants Vice President Kamala Harris and that it was a "dumb decision" to include her on the 2020 ticket.

"No matter how bad old Joe is, nobody wants Kamala!" DeSantis said in front of a crowd in Palm Beach County Monday.

DeSantis anticipated that "regime media would start knifing" President Joe Biden after the election result.

"They're going to turn on him," he said. "Now they view him as a liability. They're going to do whatever they can to try to push him off the stage."

Earlier this 2022, DeSantis labeled Harris as an "impeachment insurance."

The governor also called Harris a "terrible, terrible selection," as he again repeated the VP was the "best insurance" for President Joe Biden.

"So, here's the thing. I thought Biden picking her at first was the worst decision ever because she's not great. But she's like the best impeachment insurance and 25th Amendment insurance anyone could have," DeSantis said.

Despite DeSantis' mockery of Harris, surveys continually suggest that she would be more popular than DeSantis if they were to compete in the 2024 General Election as the candidates for their respective parties.

Kamala is the first woman to hold such a high office in the United States. Ever. This is another torn in DeSantis' side. She's forever been the first woman Vice President of the United States.

While many disagree with her policies, she's still more popular than almost all of her attackers.

According to Harvard's October Poll, Harris continues to have a modest advantage in the national popular vote for that election. DeSantis would receive 39% of the vote, Harris 41%, and 20% would not say who they would support.

When compared to former president Donald Trump, who receives 49% support to Harris's 38%, DeSantis performs noticeably worse.

    DeSantis as Trump's Vice President

If Trump runs with DeSantis on his ticket, Democrats could lose the plot. And it seems like DeSantis is starting to explore his alternatives for the upcoming elections.

Trump is getting more serious about the 2024 election. He has been campaigning non-stop since he stepped down. And many think Trump would clear the field if he runs.

How do you feel about the governor's latest round of attacks on Harris?
