Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has stated that he is "probably more of an executive guy" and would decline an invitation to be Donald Trump's running mate.

"I think I'm probably more of an executive guy," DeSantis said. "I think that you want to be able to do things. That's part of the reason I got into this job because we have action. We're able to make things happen, and I think that's probably what I am best suited for."

DeSantis has not officially declared his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. Still, he is the only primary challenger to Trump in the polls, and he is expected to announce his bid soon. Even Trump considers DeSantis to be a worthy opponent. He's launching everything in his arsenal to slander the Florida Governor's name.

The relationship between two Republican heavyweights has stooped to new lows.

The Florida governor has criticized Trump's methods of administration and response to the Covid-19 pandemic. After receiving harsh criticism for his previous comments, DeSantis changed his mind about the Ukraine conflict. They abandoned the isolationist position advocated by Trump and a sizable portion of the party's rights.

Trump has scrutinized DeSantis' behavior around young ladies as a teacher and suggested that he might be gay.

As a result, Trump has gained a lead in the polls.

Although DeSantis has dutifully criticized Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney who is anticipated to indict Trump, he has also said that Trump should be charged for giving the hush money to the adult film star Stormy Daniels that is under question in New York.

The governor then made a book promotion for his publication, The Courage to Be Free: Florida's Blueprint for America's Revival.

DeSantis has launched a book tour rather than a primary campaign because he is required by Florida law to resign from his state seat to run for a federal one. Many assume he's playing it safe. DeSantis seems to be running a quiet campaign, making classic moves that a presidential nominee would make.

Do you want DeSantis to run with Trump in 2024?

hey Toni, way to go not even mentioning that they can not run together because they live in the same state. you would have been better to call him out on not saying that. but you probably don't even know that's a rule to running for POTUS and VP. because you're not a real journalist.

It’s not his time. Lots more to learn before he is ready to take in the communist cabal
