BREAKING: Trump Hit with 13 Shocking Counts — What You Need to Know Now

    2023-08-21

Former President Donald Trump has added a fourth criminal case to his long list of legal issues involving his alleged attempts to rig the Georgia 2020 election.

On August 14, a grand jury in Fulton County indicted the former president on 13 counts, alleging that he conspired to remove elected officials and replace them with phony electors and took overt actions to facilitate the conspiracy.

An indictment was filed after a two-year investigation from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis into Trump's actions after the 2020 election.

The second criminal accusation against the former president stems from his alleged meddling in the election that Trump lost.

Four federal counts against the former president were filed against him earlier this year concerning his alleged activities.

The latest indictment was labeled "bogus" by Trump's campaign, and Willis was charged with political targeting.

Trump is accused of 13 counts in the 2020 election interference case, including 13 counts of violating the RICO Act, three counts of soliciting a public official to break an oath, conspiracy to impersonate a public official, two counts of forgery in the first degree, two counts of writing false statements, two counts of filing false documents, and two counts of making false statements.

The accusations relate to an alleged scheme and conspiracy Trump engaged in to seize control of Georgia's electoral votes. The indictment lists a number of actions, including Trump's attempt to install phony electors in Georgia.

It is the second criminal charge against Trump's alleged acts as he seeks the presidency again.

Do you believe that the charges against Trump are politically motivated?
