Elisia, a distinguished set designer based in New York, was integral in launching A Touch More, a pioneering production company founded by renowned athletes Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe. This new venture aims to spotlight the narratives of trailblazers who have significantly influenced cultural progression. A Touch More fosters a more profound understanding, connection, and dialogue within the dynamic media landscape. By emphasizing stories centered on identity, activism, and marginalized communities—including LGBTQ individuals, people of color, and women—the company aspires to produce impactful and meaningful content.

Elisia's exceptional talent in set production has been a vital asset to this ambitious initiative. Specializing in photo shoots, commercials, editorials, and film projects, her expertise is translating her clients' visionary ideas into meticulously designed sets. Her background in film lends a unique touch to her work, characterized by attention to detail, immersive quality, and occasional elements of the unexpected. Her impressive credentials include being one of only ten Canadian filmmakers selected for the prestigious 2014 Toronto International Film Festival Talent Lab, where she was mentored by industry luminaries such as Darren Aronofsky, Mike Leigh, and Juliette Binoche.

Elisia's extensive training includes an intensive production design program under Valerie Kaelin, a highly respected figure in the Directors Guild of Canada and the Associated Designers of Canada. Further honing her skills, she pursued additional studies in production design at George Brown School of Continuing Education, focusing on pattern drafting and carpentry techniques. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from Ryerson University's School of Image Arts, an institution renowned for its excellence in film education. Her dedication to her craft was evident early in her career, as she was mentored by Academy Award-winning documentarian Brigitte Berman in 2007. During this mentorship, her first film, "Guardian Angels," premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, marking the start of a promising career in the film industry.

Her involvement in A Touch More highlights her commitment to impactful storytelling and her passion for creating immersive experiences that resonate with audiences. With a diverse portfolio spanning advertising, editorial, and motion pictures, Elisia consistently excels in producing visually striking and memorable sets that elevate the storytelling process. The production company was established in collaboration with TOGETHXR, a media and commerce venture co-founded by Bird alongside esteemed professional athletes Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim, and Simone Manuel. Both TOGETHXR and A Touch More share a mission to address the disparity in sports media coverage, with studies showing that women's sports receive less than 10% of total coverage despite female athletes comprising 40% of the athletic population.

Elisia has been instrumental in spearheading numerous innovative projects, showcasing her unwavering commitment to impactful storytelling and her fervor for creating narratives that truly connect with viewers. She prides herself on leveraging her talents and ingenuity to support initiatives that both entertain and inspire, while also shedding light on the experiences of marginalized communities.
