Here's when franchise owner says Topeka's second Chick-Fil-A location is expected to open

Topeka's second Chick-Fil-A location is inching toward completion.

After Chick-Fil-A told The Capital-Journal in June of last year that plans were in the early stages for it to create a second site at the S.W. corner of 32nd Terrace and Topeka Boulevard, the progress has been steady.

Construction has been seen at the site for the past months, with a newly constructed building and a sign advertising Chick-Fil-A at the forefront of the site.

When will the new Chick-Fil-A be open?

“I am thrilled and honored to partner with Chick-fil-A, Inc. to open a second Chick-fil-A location in Topeka this fall," said Justin Lamison, franchisee owner and operator of Chick-fil-A.

"With our new restaurant, Chick-fil-A South Topeka Boulevard, we look forward to showing continued care for the community, creating about 80 jobs, serving old friends and making new ones at this new location,” Lamison said.
