LaRocca’s Pizza to be featured on nationwide food roadshow

TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – A local pizza restaurant will be the next star of America’s Best Restaurants ( ABR ).

On Monday, July 8, ABR plans to visit LaRocca’s Pizza and get a behind the scenes look at some popular dishes and hear from the owners. ABR is a national media and marketing company that focuses on highlighting local, independently owned restaurants.

During the visit, the show will do an on-camera interview with Ted and Cindi Valdivia, the owners of LaRocca’s, and how the local restaurant is important to the community.

LaRocca’s was nominated to be on ABR by a customer, Riley Luna.

“The best pizza, the best customer service, the best owners!” Luna wrote.

The roadshow will feature popular menu items such as: Meat Lover’s Pizza, Chicken Bacon Ranch and Spicy Queso, topped with chorizo, tomato, onion, jalapeno and finished with a chipotle sauce and sour cream.

ABR will be filming at the pizza restaurant from 9 a.m. until noon. The episode featuring LaRocca’s Pizza will air on social media at a later date.
